Event description

Proceeds from the event will directly support the Boone County Sheriff's Auxiliary's 225th Celebration fund, which aims to provide commemorative badges to all sworn individuals working in the Boone County Sheriff's Office to honor their service and dedication on the milestone anniversary of the Boone County Sheriff’s Office. The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $15,000 to cover the cost of the commemorative badges.

On-Site, Day of Race Registration begins at 8:00am and ends promptly at 8:45 AM to allow race day volunteers to get everyone entered into the race.

Race Starts at 9:00 AM in front of the Boone County Sheriff's Office. The course proceeds down Conrad Ln toward Idlewild Rd then continues through a marked course in England-Idlewild Park before returning back to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

Kids Fun Run will start at 10:30 AM. For kids not wanting to run the normal 5K route, we will have a shorter Fun Run Route that will start at the Idlewild Rd end of Conrad and end at the Boone County Sheriff's Office. This route will include colored chalk that will be tossed on the kids as they run. This fun run is approximately 0.35 miles.

In the event of inclement weather, our organization will make every effort to delay the run if feasible before ultimately canceling it. However, please note that there will be no refunds issued for cancellations due to weather conditions. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our participants and decisions regarding cancellation will be made with their best interests in mind.
